A while back McDonalds started targeting the "Asian/Pacific Islander" target market with the site "www.i-am-asian.com" The site has since changed but you can still find remnants of peoples reaction to it on the web. Here's a pretty good article about the Asian "market" or "demographic" in the eyes of the U.S: http://www.imdiversity.com/Villages/Asian/business_finance/asakawa_mcdonalds_asians_0504.asp I especially found the pug with the "I am Asian" t-shirt ... um ... fitting.
