Maybe you’ve heard of it, maybe you haven’t, but the new browser to use is Firefox, coming out of the Mozilla camp, which came out of Netscape, which was bought and then killed by AOL Time Warner.
Firefox is fantastic. Not only do they include some very helpful things like a magnificent in-page Find tool and tabbed browsing (once you use it, you can never go back, I promise), but they also have an added “Extension” feature where you can easily (it can’t be any easier than they make it really) download add-ons to the browser. Some of my favorites are theGmail Notifier, Mouse Gestures, and the Translation Panel. New extensions come every day almost, so you can really make the browser do whatever you need to it do to fit your personal web-usage style.
If you haven’t already, check it out, get to know it, because it’s already making the big boys scared!
