Those crazy kids from The Lonely Island have put up their pilot episodes for AWESOMETOWN!, but what’s best is that they’ve put up two cuts, one for Fox, and one for MTV and Comedy Central. You might recognize these guys from Channel 101’s The Bu, Stork Patrol, or maybe even everyone’s favorite hit, Ka-blamo! They’ve been putting up shorts on their website for a really long time now, so it’s good to see they got a chance at the big time. Sadly, their pilot wasn’t accepted, but it seems Ardy/Andy will be a new member of the SNL team, and Akiva and Jorm have been hired as writers!

A lot of strange things happen to me, so it’s kind of normal really, but just this night I was out walking the dog, li’l Jojo, and I was given some free dog food. Yet another social networking site, Buddytown, has sprung up, and this time their goal is to beat out myspace. The idea though is that you’re not supposed to invite people you don’t really know, so hopefully people will stick to that, and it’ll grow more naturally like a social network should… of course, that really doesn’t help me, since I kind of worked my way around the front page, saw who the current members are, and contacted a bunch of them on myspace asking them to sponsor me…
