I remember when I first heard Canada’s own The Arcade Fire. They were getting a lot of hype, and I was mad at the girl for sounding so much like Bjork. But I guess over time, with more listenings, I can tell that she maybe isn’t trying to be Bjork after all. Maybe.

This song is a peach on the album, but a real gem in the studio, recorded live on Morning Becomes Eclectic at KCRW in Santa Monica, CA.

    I saw them live last year at the Hollywood Bowl. They were great (as was David Byrne, the headliner). I, too, think she totally wants to be the Bjork of early Sugarcubes days.
