As cracked out as most of the things to come out of Iceland, Lazy Town is the brainchild of Magnús Scheving, Icelandic super-athlete, who created the show for kids as a motivational fitness program. It then got picked up internationally and now airs on Nick Jr.

Crafters everywhere are still mourning Riso’s decision to cut their Gocco line of printers, and as time goes on, supplies are dwindling. You can still get kits and supplies here and there, and I noticed that The Art Store/Dick Blick is having a mighty sale on inks and other necessary bits like bulbs and screens, some actually on clearance.

There’s been a lot of hubub lately about Zune, Microsoft’s hopefully well-planned leap into the portable audio arena. All the details are just hearsay for how, but some of the exciting features rumored are wi-fi capability for sharing and connectivity, a music-movie-media focus, and the ability to discover new artists through it (like with Pandora or last.fm).
