I don’t usually watch that much television, but when I heard about NBC’s new game show “Identity”, I had to check it out. Hosted by Penn of Penn & Teller fame, I have concluded that it is a complete load of horse crap. Observe:
Article 1: There are no ugly or old people in the audience
If you look closely, you’ll see that there’s an audience behind Penn & the contestant who are all beautiful, hip, and young. There’s also an audience in a “pit” below that probably contains the real audience who make the noises we hear. The people behind Penn don’t move.
Article 2: Who can keep a straight face that long?
These “strangers” stand on the pedestals and when the “contestant” “locks in” their “identity”, that have a very dramatic pause. Most people on Earth, if standing there while someone talks about them, and they’re trying to be sneaky, can’t pull off a straight face. They would smile, smirk, look away, laugh, grimace… something. These people are trained professional zombies.
Article 3: The contestants
They are way too talkative. Their timing is too good. And they are way too witty.
Article 4: What the hell is Penn doing hosting a network game show?!
What the hell is Penn doing hosting a network game show?!?!? The only reason I can imagine that he’d go for it if it was complete and total bullshit. He likes that kind of thing!
