That was very helpful. So many people were angry, but you're right, you have infinitely more control over the sound in GarageBand than you ever did in iMovie. Some of the other awesome features are sending directly to YouTube. No more song and dance to get your video compressed right, just click Share, send to YouTube, and you're done. Beautiful work, Apple.

Thanks for the heads up!! I had their 2007 calendar in my studio, and all the other crafters in the building were super jealous! If you get the chance, check out http://www.savegocco.com too! Jill's a major figure behind the Save Gocco movement.

They fuckin' ROCKED the scene harder than any 15, 16-year-olds could ever dream of.
Firecrackers on stage - all of 'em. Epitome of teen angst punk with a hint of vagina.
BEAUTIES.

That's awesome. I was wondering how to do that. I wanted to edit a simple movie to publish to my Web Gallery, but I wasn't finding any way to get rid of the original sound. Now I understand how to modify it using Garageband, but I wonder if I could still bring back to iMovie the modified soundtrack.

My numbers came from a few sites:

<a href="http://www.motherjones.com/mojoblog/archives/2006/12/3148_american_appare.html" rel="nofollow">Mother Jones: American Apparel Sells Out; Cashes In</a>

<a href="http://business.guardian.co.uk/story/0,,1975513,00.html" rel="nofollow">Guardian Unlimited UK: Rebellious underwear firm sold for $382m</a>

The New York Times article gives the most complete breakdown of the numbers. Hope that helps!

Um...where did you get your numbers from? The actual Endeavor press releases are on their website at: http://www.endeavoracq.com/

You may want to re-read them. I see something about "debt financing" of $41 million and a capital infusion of up to $120 million -- but even adding both of those numbers together you don't get your number.

Did I miss something?

The demand for there clothes has risen so much that they couldn't go by that anymore.

this game is as close to perfect as a video game will ever come... i can't think of anyone who has played it and had a single complaint (unless they were just playing it wrong)
